Project Description
Prior to the Eastside Reinvestment Summit the city of San Antonio had cataloged more than a dozen neighborhood concept plans to guide the revitalization of East San Antonio communities.
At the Summit, the City of San Antonio sought to fully engage Eastside communities in reaching consensus on a comprehensive plan for the implementation of their respective concept plans.
C&M facilitated a three session Reinvestment Summit of 350 participants to achieve stakeholder collaboration in developing development goals, project priorities, a realistic schedule and an implementation strategy for economic development in East San Antonio. As a result of the Summit, the City and East Side neighborhoods are moving forward with implementation of efforts intended to revitalize East San Antonio.
